Halloween
Pumpkin Carving with Lisa & Mike Peters. JD’s 25th Birthday Celebration. Festivities at the Mills’ house in Charlotte. Shrimp and Grits for dinner and Sherry Cake for dessert. The Cundaris, the Mills, Mam & PaRay and Mike Garvey were present. A good time was had by all! The following day included a fishing trip that resulted in the hooking of many tree branches instead of fish.

More Milo
Milo is getting bigger (and cuter!) He’s quite affectionate – purring and snuggling – perhaps a bit too much when it’s 3am =)

The Lazy 5 Ranch
After much pleading, JD agrees to go with me to the Lazy 5 ranch. His aversion to emus makes him reluctant to return to this Mooresville hotspot. It was a beautiful fall afternoon and we enjoyed feeding the animals very much.
Some of our favortie pictures were from the ring-tail lemurs they have, which reminded us a great deal of our little kitten, Milo – aka “King Julian” – Lord of the Lemurs.

Fall Boat Trip
The leaves are starting to change and the weather is getting cooler – what better place to take it all in than on the lake!

Renaissance Festival
Where else can you see crazy people dressed up in crazy costumes. We enjoyed the shows, food & music.

New Kitten
This little 5-week old kitten took up residence outside our bedroom window and meowed all night long for three nights straight. We finally got a hava-heart trap and were able to capture hime with some food.
After receiving a clean bill of health from the vet, we took him in and instantly fell in love. It took Mitlon a little while to adjust, but now they are best buddies and romp around (and steal each other’s food) all day (and night) long.
He was 1 pound at his first vet visit and did not yet have all his kitten teeth. We think he knew that our house was the place to be if you’re a cat!
