We’re back! Our last day was spent driving to the Christchurch airport. On the way, we stopped for a tour of the city’s Red Zone – the area most affected by the earthquakes that have rocked the city since early last year. A sobering end to an otherwise cheery vacation, but I’m glad we did it. Christchurch is a beautiful city. I wish we could have taken more time to explore.
